About Christian Books:
There’s no denying it. We are creatures of our world. For most of us, our lives shaped by our environment and circumstances and as much success as we achieve, we still sometimes feel like we are drifting aimlessly. This doesn’t have to be. As Christians, we understand that God put us here for a reason and that there is a bigger purpose for us. It may not be clearly evident but as sure as God’s love for us all, our purpose is out there waiting to be discovered.
As we go along our journey, we all will feel worn out and tired but, attending to our spiritual nourishment and strengthening our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ will give us the strength we need to keep going day after day.
As caught up in the world as we may be, to be spiritually nourished, we need to devote time to talk to our Savior and learn to hear his voice. It’s not enough to sit in Church every Sunday, we need to be constantly seeking out God’s plan for us and filling our minds not with worldly things but with the promise of everlasting life.
Seeking God requires discipline. Much as we spent a big part of our lives preparing for the work we do, learning God’s word requires us to put in just as much time and devotion. We need to read the Bible and seek out leaders of ministry and study their insights about God because Christianity is as dynamic as it is alive. Understanding how it remains constant in an ever-changing world is crucial to our mission to find our true purpose in life.
